BJP’s poll delay request is defeat: Hooda

Hooda claims BJP's call to postpone polls signals acceptance of defeat

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda criticized the BJP’s request to postpone the state assembly polls, saying it shows the party is afraid of losing. Hooda, the Leader of Opposition, argued that if BJP’s concern was a long weekend, they should have asked to move the elections earlier, not delay them. He added that Congress would have supported an earlier poll date.

Criticism of Kangana’s comments on farmers

Hooda also condemned BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s remarks about farmers. He emphasized that farmers from Punjab and Haryana are crucial in feeding the country. Hooda stated that people in responsible positions should avoid making such statements. He further claimed that the people of Haryana have already decided to vote out BJP, while Congress is receiving strong public support.
